If the stove is placed on a wooden floor it is recommended to use a stove board (hearth pad), to safeguard the floor in the event of accidental spillage of embers. These Stove boards are made of steel, which has been painted at high temperatures and has a thickness of 30/10, or stainless steel AISI 304 15/10.
